2024 National Golf Day Recap
16th Annual National Golf Day featured more than 230 meetings with Members of Congress
On May 8-10, the golf industry returned to Washington D.C. for the 16th annual National Golf Day. Conducted by the American Golf Industry Coalition, National Golf Day serves as the pinnacle advocacy event of the year for coalition representatives and the golf industry.
During the three days in our nation's capital, the AGIC arranged more than 230 meetings with Members of Congress. In total, there were 38 states and 162 unique House Districts represented with over 200 attendees.
In addition to the advocacy experience, attendees participated in two Community Service Projects on the National Mall and Langston Golf Course. In partnership with the National Park Service, National Links Trust, and Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, the two Community Service Projects featured the planting of over 500 new trees and plants, spreading more than three acres of wood chips, and various mowing projects near the Thomas Jefferson and George Mason Memorials. At Langston Golf Course, participants undertook a landscaping project to beautify the historic course's clubhouse.
The 17th annual National Golf Day will take place in our nation's capital April 30-May 2. A tentative schedule of events can be found below, with more information being released in early 2025.
